UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Three second-half goals lifted Saginaw Valley State past the Purdue Northwest women's soccer team 4-1 Sunday at Braddock Field.
PNW (1-5-1) went one better than SVSU (2-3-0) in shots on goal, 10-9, as junior
Kiana Chandler found the back of the net in the 65th minute.
For Chandler, it was her first goal of the season and the second of her career. Senior
Hailey Arlis provided the assist on a pass from the wing. The duo combined for seven shots on goal in the contest.
However, the host Cardinals extended their 1-0 lead shortly after halftime with three goals in a span of five minutes and 28 seconds. What proved to be the game-winner was scored by SVSU's Autumn Kloha in the 52nd minute.

Bridget Grady (4) and
Ashley Lovins (1) combined for five saves for the Pride, while SVSU's keeper Alyssa Watts registered nine saves.
