HAMMOND, Ind. - The Purdue University Northwest Esports team was crowned tournament champion in League of Legends after competing in the Battle of Indiana online tournament, which featured League of Legends and Rocket League among several titles hosted over the past two weekends by Butler University.

PNW's main Rocket League team went 5-2, barely missing the final-stage playoffs by a game, and the League of Legends squad went 7-0 in group stage to advance.

The Pride continued the run in League of Legends and finished the tournament undefeated at 10-0 with notable wins over Purdue, Indiana and Ball State.
