LEBANON, Ill. – The Purdue Northwest women's basketball team led wire-to-wire in Saturday's 84-61 win over McKendree to wrap up the Midwest Region Crossover. PNW moves to 1-1 on the season following the non-conference victory.
HEAD COACH COURTNEY LOCKE:
"I'm extremely proud of the way our team bounced back and executed today," head coach
Courtney Locke said. "I give McKendree a lot of credit for their toughness and grit. This one made us better because we had to adjust to so many different aspects throughout the game. This weekend was a great early-season test and we're looking forward to playing at home next week."
