The short story: Purdue Northwest won its fifth straight match at Dowling Park and moved into a three-way tie for second place in the GLIAC following Wednesday's 4-0 victory over Northwood.

- Bravo Ollé is the 10th different PNW player with a goal this season, which is a new team single-season record during the D2 era.
- Bravo Ollé provided the assist on a Benjamin Barrette (Kenosha, Wis.) goal in the 39th minute. It was Barrette's second goal of the year.
- Senior midfielder Isaiah Nieves (Lyons Township, Ill.) notched a pair of assists including on the first goal by Bravo Ollé and on PNW's third goal which was scored by Ryan Moran (Attadale, Australia) in the 72nd minute.
- Nieves has a career-high six assists this season and is currently tied for third for most assists in the GLIAC. It was his second outing of the year with multiple assists in a match.
- Nieves leads the Pride with 12 points overall on the season with three goals and six assists.
- Moran logged his team-high fourth goal of the season on a beautiful chip shot and ranks second on the squad in points with nine this season.
- Christian Booth (Mississauga, Ontario) scored in the final minute of the match for his second goal of the season. He is tied with Barrette for the third-most points on the team.
- The Pride out-shot the Timberwolves 9-2 in shots on target.
- PNW has won four out of the past five meetings against Northwood. The Pride lead the all-time series 4-3-1.
- The two teams will meet again on Oct. 29, when the Pride travel to Midland, Mich.
UP NEXT
The Pride will travel to league leader Davenport (5-4-0, 5-1-0 GLIAC) on Sunday (2 p.m. ET) to open a stretch of three consecutive road matches. The Panthers are coming off a loss in double overtime to Saginaw Valley State last Sunday.
