Women's Soccer falls to Northern Michigan, 3-0

The short story: After a scoreless opening half, the Purdue Northwest women's soccer team surrendered three goals in the second period in Sunday's 3-0 setback to Northern Michigan.

PNW had several chances in the second half of their own, including shots on target by Kiana Chandler (Lowell, Ind.) and Reannah Soto (Merrillville, Ind.). In total, the Pride had six shots on frame and the Wildcats logged seven.
 
Goalkeeper Ashley Lovins (Huntley, Ill.) recorded four saves for the Pride while making her ninth start.
 
PNW honored five seniors prior to the match including, Chandler, Soto, Sydney Hanson (Alma, Mich.), Haneen Abdulla (Crown Point, Ind.) and Amanda Logan (Tinley Park, Ill.). All five have played four years together in a Pride uniform.
 
UP NEXT
PNW will play its home finale on Friday against Michigan Tech. Kickoff at Dowling Park is set for 2:30 p.m. CT.
