The Purdue Northwest men's soccer team fell 1-0 to visiting Parkside in a tight match Friday afternoon. The loss — which is only the second time PNW has been shutout this season — snapped a five-match win streak at Pepsi Field for the Pride. The Rangers scored the game-winner in the 61st minute after the two teams came out of the halftime break knotted up at zero. PNW had plenty of opportunities and looks at goal, ultimately out-pacing the Rangers 7-5 in shots on target. Lucas Bravo Olle led the Pride with three shots on frame after coming on near the end of the first half. Goalkeeper Sebastian Contreras recorded four saves in net.
