PNW (1-3) hopes to keep momentum going this week after claiming its first win. The Pride defeated Lake Superior State, 61-52, as
Danielle Nennig posted her first career double-double with 15 points and career-high 13 rebounds, along withÂ
Anjel Galbraith who filled the stat sheet with 18 points, three assists, three steals and two rebounds. Nennig (11.0), Galbraith (10.3) and
Savaya Brockington (10.5) are all averaging double figures in the scoring column. Sunday's win snapped PNW's 10-game losing streak in league games dating back to last season, which included six losses by single digits.
PNW will try to end another streak tomorrow as it looks to capture its first home victory since Feb. 1, 2020 – a span of five games. The Pride's last win in Hammond came against Davenport in a close game, 75-72.
