WAYNE STATE 81, PURDUE NORTHWEST 58
As the regular season is winding down, Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball continued their series on the road by traveling to Detroit to play the Wayne State Warriors on Thursday, February 13. That would be the Warriors lead heading to halftime.

PNW got outscored 15-9 in that second quarter and shot 30% for the half, including 1-6 from three. Brockington led the half with 11 points on 5-9 shooting. WSU shot 12-32 (37.5%) from the field, including 3-13 from three.

Both teams started the third quarter hot, including the Pride making three of their first four shots to cut the deficit to 39-30 after a Barnard layup. Vauters would score five more points in the third and Bayley Goodman got on the board with a three-pointer with 1:42 left in the third, but the Warriors outscored the Pride 27-18 in the quarter. 60-41 was the score at the end of the third, with WSU taking an 8-0 run into the fourth.

The Warriors scorched the first five minutes of the fourth quarter, kicking their 8-0 run at the end of the third up to a 19-0 run until a Brockington free-throw with 7:18 remaining ended it. Anjel Galbraith's floater with 4:33 left in the game was the first PNW basket in the fourth.
