HEAR FROM HEAD COACH COURTNEY LOCKE

"The GLIAC is such a tough conference and we had to fight for this win today," said Locke. "It came down to getting stops and making free throws. I'm so proud of our team and we protected our house today!"

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pride held the lead over the Panthers for more than 30 of the 40 minutes of competition, leading by as many as 12 points. The last five minutes of the second quarter saw the Pride go on a 14-7 run, including back-to-back threes from Bayley Goodman and a three-point play by Elexah Roepke, before taking the 42-30 halftime lead. Tied at 65 with just under four minutes left to play, Savaya Brockington put the Pride up for good with a jumper off the Panther turnover. Two late defensive stops by PNW in the last minute of the game helped ensure the victory. The Black and Gold ended each quarter with the lead en route to their fifth conference win of the season. PNW now leads the overall series 5-1.
