PURDUE NORTHWEST 71, DAVENPORT 101
The Purdue University Northwest Men's Basketball program hosted the Davenport University Panthers on Saturday on PNW Kids Day at the Hammond Fitness and Recreation Center, ending the afternoon's conference competition with a 101-71 loss.

"Today was a really tough day all the way around," said Roberts. "We're banged up and we didn't play well. But we're a resilient group and we'll respond."
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Davenport Panthers came out fast against the Pride, opening up an early gap. By halftime, PNW trailed with a score of 52-30, shooting 10-29 and 1-10 from behind-the-arc. Jordan Doss led for the Black and Gold early with 13 points and five rebounds before halftime. Davenport's size and atleticism punished PNW from the tip, as six players combined to score 85 of their 101 points.
WHO LED THE WAY FOR THE PRIDE
Doss finished with 22 points on 9-13 shooting. He also led with seven rebounds, four assists and one steal. Franklin Nunn came off the bench and scored 11 points, and Jyrus Freels brought home 10.
TEAM STATS
Purdue Northwest finished with a shooting percentage of 40% from the field (24-61) and 19% from behind the arc (5-26). The Pride scored 32 points in the paint and 26 off the bench.
