UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. -- The Purdue University Northwest Pride faced off against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals on Thursday, January 2, claiming victory with a final score of 68-64. This bring's PNW conference record to an even 2-2.

Courtney Locke. "Coming off an eight day break, they showed up tonight. We executed offensively and defensively; we were locked in."
The Pride were led on the scoresheet by
Danielle Nennig who put up 20 points for the Pride, shooting 8-12 from the field while pulling down 4 rebounds.
Anjel Galbraith took home 15 points, Savaya Brocking claimed 12 with 7 rebounds, and
Bayley Goodman put up 11 points for the Pride. PNW took 28 points from the paint compared to the Cardinals' 18 while also capitalizing off SVSU's 11 turnovers.Â
PNW will next be in action at home on Saturday, January 4 when they take on the Northwest University Timberwolves at the Westville campus. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. (CT).
