HAMMOND, Ind. - - The Purdue Northwest Women's Soccer team hosted the Northern Michigan Wildcats on a chilly Friday afternoon at Dowling Park. Goalkeeper
Bridget Grady (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) and her back-line played stingy defense for most of the game, but the Wildcats scored two goals in a two-minute span during the second half to defeat the Pride with a final score of 2-0.
Grady collected eight saves as she was in the Pride net for the duration of the game. Midfielder
Kiana Chandler (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) recorded three of the seven PNW shots, giving her 10 shots in the last two games. Midfielders
Alexa Vega (West Chicago, Ill./Community) and
Avery Fitzgerald (Huntley, Ill./Huntley) also recorded shots on goal for the Pride.
PNW Women's Soccer will be celebrating their four seniors as they host Senior Day on Sunday, November 3, as the Michigan Tech Huskies comes to Dowling Park. Kickoff will be at 11 a.m. (CT).
