BIG RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Purdue Northwest Women's Soccer team completed their road games in the state of Michigan on Sunday, October 20, as they faced the Ferris State Bulldogs in Big Rapids, Michigan. The Bulldogs were relentless all game long, putting up shot after shot on the Pride's defense. Ferris State eventually went on to win the early afternoon contest with a final score of 7-0.
Bridget Grady (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) was the net-minder for the Pride through the 90-minute competition, collecting seven saves. Forward
Avery Fitzgerald (Huntley, Ill./Huntley) led the offensive attack, recording two shots on goal. Defender
Amanda Logan (Tinley Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way North) and Forward
Hailey Arlis (Minooka, Ill./Minooka Community) also took shots on goal for the Pride.
PNW Women's Soccer will return home on Sunday, October 27, when they will match up with the Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers. Kickoff at Dowling Park is set for 12 p.m. (CT). Â Â
