SILVIS, Ill. -- The Purdue University Calumet men's golf team finished 10th place at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championships at TPC at Deere Run Tuesday. 

The Peregrines finished with an overall-team score of 662 after recording a team score in 338 in Monday's opening round.

Patrick Mudd (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) had his highest finish at the CCAC Championships in his collegiate career, finishing in 14th place, which passed last year's 16th place finish. Mudd led the Peregrines with a second round score of 77 and two-round score of 156. 

In his final event with the Peregrines, senior Tim Talley (Portage, Ind./Portage) finished tied for 36th place. Talley shot a 81 in the second round, to give him a two-round score of 166. 

Ryan Wells (St. John, Ind./Lake Central) shot a 77 in the second round -- shaving 12 strokes off his Day 1 total -- to help him finish tied for 36th place with a combined score of 166, matching Talley. 

Rounding out the Peregrines were Joshua Jackowski (St. John, Ind./Hanover Central), who shot a two-day score of 178 (t-54th), and freshman Leo Govert (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point), who carded a two-round score of 183 (64th place).

Cardinal Stritch captured the team title with two-day score of 607 (+39) to advance to the NAIA National Championships. The Wolves' Joaquin Diaz earned medalist honors, shooting a two-day score of 148 after carding a 71 -- six strokes better than his Day 1 77 -- on the final day.
