Trent Tucker is in his second season as an assistant coach for Purdue Calumet’s men’s basketball program. He plays a crucial role in the program’s recruiting, film exchange and player development.

“Trent brings a blue collar approach to our staff, his work ethic and familiarity with our system will be true asset to our program,” said Purdue Calumet head coach Dan Voudrie. “He is a former John Friend Leadership Award as well as Kevin Thomas Peregrine Award winner, which is indicative of his impressive character and values.”

Tucker finished up a three-year career with the Peregrines in 2012-13, starting 61 of the Peregrines’ last 62 contests. He was a two-time Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and Kevin Thomas Peregrine Award selection, which is the highest honor given to a member of the men’s basketball team.
