Grant Greenberg

Purdue University Northwest Men's BasketballĀ announces the addition of Grant Greenberg as Assistant Coach.

Coach Greenberg comes to Hammond, Indiana after coaching with current Head CoachĀ Jordan AshtonĀ at William Woods University this past season and now joins his coaching staff in their first year at Purdue Northwest.

Coach Greenberg brings with him a wealth of playing experience and a decorated basketball résumé that spans collegiate, international, and professional levels. A four-year standout at the University of Saint Mary (2013–2017), Greenberg amassed an astounding 3,330 career points—surpassing Danny Manning to become the all-time leading scorer in Kansas collegiate basketball history. His scoring total ranks him among the top ten in all-time collegiate scoring across all levels. During his time with the Spires, Greenberg was a four-time NAIA All-American and was inducted into the University of Saint Mary Hall of Fame in 2023.

Following his stellar collegiate career, Greenberg represented the United States on the international stage, competing in the 20th International Maccabiah Games and the European Maccabiah Games, where he helped Team USA capture gold medals in both events.

Greenberg went on to play professionally for five years, including time with the Kansas City Tornadoes and multiple stints overseas. His international career took him to Israel, where he played for Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan, Maccabi Karmiel, and Elitzur Yavne. He was a two-time league champion and earned league MVP honors during his time abroad.

Greenberg now steps into his new role at Purdue Northwest ready to channel his passion for the game into developing student-athletes on and off the court.
