Coleson Gordon joined the Pride as an assistant athletic trainer in the fall of 2024 and became the Head Athletic Trainer in the fall of 2025. He came to Hammond, IN after previously working with the SIUC women’s soccer and spending time as an athletic training student with Duke men’s soccer and women’s tennis teams. 
 
He holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and from the BOC. He is also certified in sound assisted soft tissue mobilization (SASTM), myofascial decompression, along with Structure and Function dry needling. Coleson is licensed in the state of Illinois and Indiana. He has been a NATA member since 2019.

Coleson is a CPR instructor for Emergency Care and Safety Institute, and is certified in Soccer Injury Prevention and Return to Play from the International Soccer Science and Performance Federation. 
 
A native of Northwest Indiana, Coleson earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Bethel College in May of 2017, as well as played soccer for the Pilots from 2013-2016. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Athletic Training from High Point University in 2021.
