Mallory Douglas

Mallory joined Purdue University Northwest as Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach in February 2022.

In her first season as Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach at PNW, she helped lead the Pride to the most program wins since transitioning to Division 2.

This past 2023 season, the Pride finished 6th in conference making it the highest finish since transitioning to Division 2 and marking the first time for the program to qualify into the GLIAC conference tournament. The Pride continued to break program records with most wins in a season, most conference wins in a season, First GLIAC Player of the Week and most GLIAC player conference awards.

Douglas, who is a native of Rancho Cucamonga, Ca., comes to Purdue Northwest from Life Pacific University (Calif.). As Associate Head Coach, she helped to start the LPU volleyball program in 2015. By 2017, the Warriors made it to the 2017 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship Tournament in only the third year of the volleyball program's existence with one player receiving All-American Honorable Mention Honors.

In 2018, the Warriors became members of the GSAC conference in the NAIA where she would lead 10 player of the week recognitions, 6 GSAC 1st Team All-Conference awards, 5 NAIA All-Region Players and 5 NAIA All-Americans. Douglas also received the GSAC Assistant Coach of the year award during the 2020-2021 season. During the 2021 season, the Warriors finished 3rd in GSAC with a 19-8, 12-6 record and defeated 2 top 20 ranked teams.

Before her time at Life Pacific University, Mallory was the Assistant Coach for St Lucy’s Priory High School where the team was recognized as Team of the Decade by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune for its 2 CIF Championships and 2 State Semi-finalists for the 2010 and 2011 season.

Mallory played for the California State Polytechnic University Pomona Broncos where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Human Performance. 

Mallory is married to Head Volleyball Coach Sean Douglas and is the proud mother of 2 children and their cat Charlie.
