2020 will be Stevens' first year at Purdue Northwest. She previously attended Ohio State University from 2017 to 2019. As a team, the Buckeyes made two conference tournament appearances, two regional invites and was ranked as a top-20 team in 2018.
2018 at Ohio State: Played in 21 games, making seven starts. Got to the plate 20 times, recording three hits, three walks, four total bases and a .261 on-base percentage. Defensively, Stevens gathered three punch outs, 13 assists and a .889 fielding percentage at third base. Against USF in the opening game of the Gainesville Regional, she entered as pinch hitter with the bases loaded and two outs before drilling a base-clearing double to lead the Buckeyes to a 3-1 win (5/18). Was named a four-time Academic Student Athlete (3.0 GPA), made the Dean's List (3.5 GPA and above) three times and was named an Easton/NFCA Academic All-American and OSU Scholar Athlete.
Prep: Led Boone Grove to three conference, sectional and regional championships with a pair of state runner-up finishes. Was named a three-time all-conference selection. In 27 games as a junior, hit .488 with 43 RBI, 24 runs scored and a .542 on-base percentage. Increased her average to .495 as a senior with 30 RBI, 11 doubles and 41 runs scored in 25 games. Career batting average of .455 with 148 hits, 127 RBI and 109 runs scored in 102 games.
