Biography
2020 will be Ferguson's first year at Purdue Northwest. She attended Quincy University from 2017 to 2019.
2019 at Quincy: Appeared in 47 games making 46 starts with 145 at-bats. Recorded a .317 batting average, 46 hits, 29 runs scored, nine doubles, six home-runs, one triple, 22 RBI's, 75 total bases, 13 walks, four stolen-bases, a .517 slugging percentage and a .379 on-base percentage. As a catcher, she recorded 168 put-outs, 26 assists, led the GLVC with 14 runners thrown out, and had a fielding percentage of .965... Named All-GLVC third team.
2018 at Quincy: Appeared in 47 games making 46 starts. Finished with a .303 average with 7 doubles, 6 home runs, and 24 RBI as a true freshman... Named Newcomer of the Year at Quincy.
Prep: At East Peoria Community High School in East Peoria, Ill., Ferguson was named All-Conference first team all four years, and All-State third team as she helped lead her team to second place in the IHSA state tournament her senior year.
Personal: Daughter Stephanie Bennett... Bats and throws right. Majoring in Social Studies Education.
