This is Edward's first year as an assistant coach with PNW Softball.
Prior to coming to Purdue Northwest, Edwards was a standout player at the University of Illinois-Springfield.

2019 - Second-team All-GLVC ...
2018 - Second-team All-GLVC … in conference games, ranked in the top-10 in the GLVC in slugging percentage and RBI … appeared in 57 games, and started all but one of those contests … second on the team with 36 RBI and eight home runs … hit .304, and had 49 hits, including eight doubles and one triple … scored 29 runs … had a .394 on-base percentage and a .516 slugging percentage … had season-high three hits against Maryville, Truman State, and Saginaw Valley State … collected two home runs in that Maryville contest … had five games with a season-high three RBI, and scored three runs in a game twice … reached base in 12 straight games during the season, tying for the longest streak on the team in 2018 … hit .356 in GLVC games, with five home runs, five doubles, one triple, 16 runs, and a team-high 23 RBI … had a .983 fielding percentage at first base, including a team-high 385 putouts … named to the GLVC Academic All-Conference team.

2017 - Appeared in 52 games, making 51 starts ... hit .303 on the season with five doubles and a team-high six home runs ... scored 14 runs and drove in 31 ... slashed .303/.377/.462 ... hit walk-off home run in season-opener vs. Northwest Missouri ... Went four-for-four with run, three RBI, and a home run versus Missouri Southern ... went two-for-four with two RBI vs. Findlay ... hit home runs in back-to-back games vs. Wisconsin-Parkside and Lewis ... went four-for-four with RBI at Saint Joseph's ... went 3-for-4 with RBI and double at Indianapolis ... ended season on five-game hitting streak, and hit safely in 15 of the last 17 games ... hit .357 in GLVC play with four home runs.
