Steven Siewert

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Steven Siewert enters his first season on the Purdue Northwest men's basketball staff in 2020-21.

Siewert served as an assistant coach at Michigan-Dearborn in 2019 and previously coached on Boomer Roberts' staff at Trinity International University as a graduate assistant. He helped guide the Trojans to a top-10 ranking in both seasons on staff with a combined record of 51-17, along with a pair of NAIA Tournament berths including a trip to the Elite 8 in 2017.

Siewert played an instrumental role in developing Zach Kirschbaum, a two-time All-American center at Trinity and current professional basketball player in Europe.

Coach Roberts on Steven Siewert:

"I am thrilled to have Steve back on our staff because his intangibles are unmatched. Steven is one of the most humble guys I know, and he is willing to whatever it takes to help our guys succeed. From on-court workouts to individual encouragement, Steve's heart for others is clearly visible in his daily life. He loves hoops and competing, but his purpose is begger than basketball."
