The Purdue Northwest Volleyball team battled throughout its home GLIAC contest Saturday afternoon but ultimately fell to Davenport, 3-0, at the Fitness and Recreation Center.

• Graduate student De'sheonna Foster led the Lions offensively with five kills, while senior Anika Huelskamp and senior Katrina Soto added four and three kills, respectively.
• Foster provided an efficient offensive performance, recording five kills on 10 attacks while hitting .400.
• Junior Kennedy Rowzee and Foster paced PNW at the net with two blocks each, while sophomore Delanie Voss added one.
• Freshman Addison Smith directed the Lions' offense with 15 assists, while sophomore Lauren Brohm added seven.
• Smith also led Purdue Northwest defensively with 10 digs, while Huelskamp and freshman Giana Frayer each recorded six.
• Rowzee recorded two service aces, while Smith added one for the Lions.
• Purdue Northwest totaled 25 kills, three aces, four blocks and 35 digs while hitting .099 as a team.
• Davenport was led offensively by Jaide Wirth with 13 kills, while Mariya Montgomery added nine and Amelia Werner contributed eight.

The Breakdown

• Davenport opened the match with a strong offensive performance, recording 14 kills while hitting .379 to take the first set, 25-16.
• The Lions battled in the second set, but Davenport held PNW to seven kills and a .032 hitting percentage as the Panthers earned a 25-19 victory.
• Purdue Northwest continued to compete in the third set, producing eight kills while improving its hitting percentage to .143.
• Davenport recorded 17 kills in the final set and hit .270, but the Lions remained within striking distance throughout the frame before falling 25-22.
• Davenport finished the match with a 44-25 advantage in kills and held a 9-3 edge in service aces.
• PNW controlled the net with four blocks compared to Davenport's three.
• Smith turned in a strong all-around performance, finishing with 15 assists and 10 digs for a double-double.
• Foster provided a bright spot offensively with five kills and a .400 hitting percentage while also contributing two blocks.
