The Pride men's cross-country team turned in an outstanding performance Friday at the Spartan Classic hosted by Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. Freshman
Jalen Strietelmeier (/Highland, Ind.) surged to the front of the field to capture the individual title, clocking 26:33.10. Junior James Snow joined him in the top five with a strong fifth-place finish in 27:13.80, while fellow freshman
Carmelo Quintero (Merrillville, Ind./Merrillville) claimed eighth overall in 27:34.70. Together, the group powered PNW to a second-place team finish in a competitive 8K field, finishing just behind North Central College.

- Brandan Bagnara (Oak Forest, Ill./Oak Forest) was close behind in 44th at 30:08.80.
- Dylan Guilford (Winamac, Ind./Winamac Community) ran 30:27.60 for 48th place.
- Zachary Cooper placed 51st with a time of 30:37.30.
- Matt Clark (Morris, Ill./) crossed the line in 69th at 32:23.70.
- Conor Gross (Du Quoin, Ill./Du Quoin) rounded out the lineup in 70th at 32:40.00.
