Women's Basketball celebrates Play4Kay Game against Davenport

The Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball team celebrated their 3rd Annual Play4Kay Game on Saturday when they hosted Davenport. The Pride fell in a close GLIAC battle in the end, 85-79.

The Breakdown
  • Both teams battled in the first period that saw Davenport hold a slim 18-16 lead going into the second.
  • The Pride came back to grab the lead, 23-22, with eight minutes left in the second period.
  • Davenport then responded with a 13-3 run to regain the lead and go up 35-26 with four minutes remaining until halftime.
  • Purdue Northwest fought back to finish the first half strong and cut their deficit to 41-37 at halftime.
  • The third period was another back-and-forth game as Davenport continued to hold their slim lead, 61-55.
