Purdue Northwest Men's Basketball senior forward Kyle Ross (Saint John, Ind./Lake Central) has been named the BIGGBY Coffee Athlete of the Month for November and December after a dominant opening stretch to the 2025–26 season that established him as one of the top frontcourt players in the GLIAC.

Ross, a Lake Central graduate, has been the centerpiece of the Pride lineup through the first eight games of the season, starting every contest and averaging 29.7 minutes per game. He leads Purdue Northwest in scoring and rebounding, posting 15.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per game while shooting an outstanding 59.8 percent from the field, the best mark in the GLIAC. His rebounding average ranks third in the conference, highlighting his consistent presence on the glass at both ends of the floor.

During the November and December stretch, Ross totaled 143 points and 74 rebounds with four double-doubles, pairing efficiency with physical play in the paint. He has also contributed 21 assists, 11 steals, and five blocks, showcasing his ability to impact the game beyond scoring.

Ross's strong play earned conference-wide recognition, as he was recently named GLIAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week. His ability to finish efficiently around the basket, draw defensive attention, and create second-chance opportunities has been instrumental in Purdue Northwest's balanced offensive attack.

Among team leaders this season, Ross ranks first in points, rebounds, and field-goal percentage, setting the tone for a Pride squad that features multiple double-figure scorers. His leadership as a senior has been evident in his consistency and willingness to do the dirty work inside, providing stability for a team navigating the early portion of conference play.
