The Purdue Northwest Men's Basketball team ended the first-half of the 2025-26 season taking down Lincoln-Missouri in neutral site action on Saturday afternoon, 80-74.

Kevin Taylor (Acworth, Ga./Allatoona) was the star of the game finishing with 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists to help the the Pride to the victory.
Purdue Northwest started the game fast building a small lead in the first half and holding strong through halftime with a lead. Second-half looked the same as the first with both teams going back-and-forth for most of the game that also saw Purdue Northwest build a 13-point lead.
Lincoln-Missouri did not quit though as the Blue Tigers cut the lead to two points with less then four minutes left in the game. A key play came when Taylor got a big steal and got fouled in the process going on too make his two free throws and momentum switching in PNW's favor.
The final minutes saw Purdue Northwest come up with several big stops on defense and making their free throws late in the game to come away with tough victory in the end.
Purdue Northwest now heads into holiday break and look to get the second-half of the season underway with GLIAC action once again starting January 2 at Lake Superior State.
