The Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball team opened GLIAC play on Monday night with a 77-56 home loss to Wayne State.

The Breakdown

  • Wayne State came out firing with a 25-point first quarter, hitting 10-of-17 from the field and 4-of-5 from three to build a 25-11 lead.
  • PNW found better rhythm in the second quarter with 45 percent shooting, but Wayne State's perimeter efficiency maintained a 41-27 halftime margin.
