The Purdue Northwest Volleyball team earned a hard-fought 3-1 road victory over Saginaw Valley State on Saturday afternoon in GLIAC play.

	- Gronkiewicz distributed 33 assists and added 15 digs, while Giana Frayer (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) tallied 17 assists and 16 digs.
 
	- Senior Livia Thomsen (Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley) led the back row with 21 digs to anchor the defense.
 
	- For Saginaw Valley, Chloe Vanwinkle led with 13 kills, while Kendall White recorded 21 digs and three service aces.

	- Saginaw Valley State edged out a tight first set 25-23, taking advantage of a strong .244 hitting performance.
 
	- Purdue Northwest responded with a balanced attack in the second set, hitting .213 and pulling away late for a 25-20 win.
 
	- The Pride dominated the third frame behind an impressive .444 team hitting percentage, led by efficient swings from Cottrell and Gronkiewicz, to claim another 25-20 victory.
 
	- In the fourth set, Purdue Northwest overcame a late push from Saginaw Valley to close out the match 25-23 and secure the 3-1 win.
 
	- The Pride displayed consistency across all phases, using strong back-row defense and efficient setting to control the tempo after dropping the opening set.
 
	- Cottrell's standout performance at the net and the team's depth in both attack and defense proved decisive in the road victory.
