The Purdue Northwest volleyball team fell in a five-set thriller as their comeback fell just short in the end against Florida Southern in Day 1 of the Hillsdale Invitational, 3-2.

The Breakdown
- After being down two sets to zero, the Pride fought there way back winning the third and fourth sets to tie it up at 2-2.
- The game went into the fifth set where Mocs held on for the win to stop the Purdue Northwest comeback.
- Purdue Northwest finished the contest with 60 kills, 54 assists, 64 digs, and eight blocks.
- Florida Southern ended the game with 55 kills, 44 assists, 65 digs, and 16Â blocks.
