The Breakdown
- Senior Aubrey Shroyer (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon) led the Pride with two hits and one RBI.
- Sophomore Amanda DeBoer (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian) and freshman Emma Fair (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) both contributed two hits each.
- Graduate student Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) and sophomore Olivia Hernandez (Aurora, Ill./Aurora Central Catholic) both chipped in one hit and one RBI.
- Senior Maddison Roop (Hudson, Ill./University)Â started on the mound for the Pride and pitched the first 4.2 innings allowing only three hits and striking out two batters.
- Senior Gabby Paliska (Palos Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East (Wisconsin-Green Bay)) came in for Purdue Northwest and pitched the final 2.1 innings to earn the win allowing only one hit, one run, and struckout two batters.

- Olivia Masnica started in the circle for the Rangers and pitched all seven innings allowing eight hits and three runs.
- After a scoreless game for the first three innings, Michko launched a solo homer for the Pride to give them a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning.
- Parkside notched the game up 1-1 in the sixth inning off a sacrifice fly.
- In the sixth, Hernandez came in to pinch hit and delivered knocking in a run to put the Pride up 2-1.
- Shroyer added another run in the sixth inning for Purdue Northwest to give the squad a 3-1 advantage.
- The Pride defense and Paliska shut down the Rangers in the final inning to seal the win, 3-1.

- Shroyer led the Pride at the plate with two hits and a stolen base.
- Michko and Fair each added one hit.
- Senior Maddison Roop (Hudson, Ill./University) started in the circle for Pride and gave it all for nine innings of action only allowing seven hits with one run and five strikeouts.
- Ella Reifschneider led Saginaw Valley State with three hits.
- Alanna Kimble started on the mound for the Cardinals and pitched the first five innings allowing two hits.
- Emily Depew came in for the relief and pitched the final four innings to grab the win
- Both teams played great defense with great pitching to keep the game scoreless for eight innings.
- In the bottom of the ninth, Mya Purdy of the Cardinals was to sneak a hit up the middle for the game-winning run as the Pride fell after an amazing performance and effort, 1-0.
