On March 28^th-29^th, the Purdue Northwest men's golf team headed to Hoffman Estates, Illinois to compete in the 2024 Windy City Classic. The Pride would have an impressive showing with the team taking second place as well as Finn Kiger (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point High School) taking second place. The Pride shot a 596 (298-298) as a team.
 
The Basics

• The event took place at Bridges of Popular Creek in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
• The event was hosted by Wisconsin Parkside.
• Parkside emerged as the victors of the Invitational, posting a combined 576 (292-284).    

The Players

• Finn Kiger (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point High School) took 2nd place shooting a 143 (76-67).
• Brody Pass (Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) tied for 7th place with a total score of 149, shooting rounds of 72 and 77.
• Dylan Adair (Manhattan, Ill./Lincoln Way West) finished in 10th place, shooting rounds of 80 and 74 for a total score of 154.
• Nicholas Alvarez (Clearfield, Utah/Clearfield) took 11th place with a combined score of 155, shooting rounds of 73 and 82.
• Brady Serafin (Beecher, Ill./) tied for 13^th place with a score of 157 (77-80).
• Andrew Remer took 17th place with a combined score of 160, shooting rounds of 80 and 80.

Up Next
The golf team is set to resume competition on Friday, April 5th, in Urbana, Ohio participating in the ill Blazer Memorial at the Urbana Country Club. Tee off is slated for 9:00 AM.
