The Purdue Northwest Men's Basketball team's season comes to an end after falling to top-seed Northern Michigan in the first round of the GLIAC Tournament on Wednesday night, 71-63.

- Graduate student Brendan Temple (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County) gave a valiant effort leading the Pride with 26 points and eight rebounds.
- Senior Anthony Irvin (Chandler, Ariz./Corona Del Sol)Â added 12Â points and dished out five assists.
- Senior's CJ Jackson (Dublin, Calif./Dublin) and Kalil Whitehead (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech) each chipped in nine points for Purdue Northwest.
- As a team, the Pride finished the contest shooting 23-of-49 (46.9%) from the floor and went 6-of-19 (31.6%) from deep.
- Dylan Kuehl led Northern Michigan scoring a game-high 27 points and had two blocks.
- As a team, the Wildcats ended the game going 30-of-53 (56.6%) from the field and shot 4-of-16 (25.0%) from behind the arc.
The Breakdown
- Northern Michigan started the game with an impressive 18-5 advantage in the first ten minutes.
- The Pride did not falter and went on a 15-2 run to tie game up at 20-20 with less then seven minutes before the half.
- With the game tied up at 28-28, Purdue Northwest would end the first half on a small 6-2 run to take a 34-30 lead at halftime.
- The majority of the second half was a game of back-and-forths, both teams trading baskets and leads.
- With ten minutes left, the Wildcats would end the game outscoring the Pride 16-11 and making key free-throws down the stretch to outlast Purdue Northwest, 71-63.
