The Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball team fell in a high scoring road contest in GLIAC play at Parkside on Saturday afternoon, 99-80.

- Senior Mercedes Simmons (Crystal Falls, Mich./Forest Park) led the Pride with a game-high 22 points and snatched four rebounds.
- Senior Dash Shaw (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) added 15 points and dished out five assists.
- Graduate student Kennedy Jackson (Carson, Calif./Redondo Union) also chipped in 15 points going 5-for-8 from the three-point line.
- As a team, the Pride ended the game shooting 28-of-67 (41.8%) from the floor and went 13-of-28 (46.4%) from deep.
- Grace Lomen led Parkside with 21 points off the bench and grabbed four rebounds
- As a team, the Rangers finished the contest going 37-of-62 (59.7%) from the field and shot 10-of-20 (50.0%) from behind the arc.
The Breakdown
- Both teams battled it out in the first period and saw the Rangers hold a slim 28-22 lead.
- The second period was all Parkside, outscoring the Pride 32-17 and went into halftime with 60-39 advantage
- In the third period, Purdue Northwest outshot the Rangers but were still down heading into the fourth period, 75-59.
- Parkside continued their momentum into the fourth and didn't look back, sealing the win in the end, 99-80.
- Both teams had nine second-chance points each.
- The Pride finished going a near perfect, 11-of-12 from the charity stripe.
