The Purdue Northwest softball team split their weekend series at the Lewis Dome Invitational grabbing two win.

Game 1 - vs. Truman State - W, 12-4
The Breakdown
- Junior Jessica DeBoer (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian) led the Pride with two hits and a game-best five RBIs.
- Freshman Kylie Dugan (Buck Creek, Ind./William Henry Harrison) added two hits and two RBIs.
- Senior Allison Arnold (Tucson, Ariz./Naperville North) chipped in one hit with three RBIs.
- Senior Maddison Roop (Hudson, Ill./University) started on the mound for the Pride and pitched all seven innings with three strikeouts to earn the win.
- Coombs led Truman State with two hits and one RBI.
- Jones started in the circle for the Bulldogs and pitched the first five innings with two strikeouts.
- Truman State scored four runs in the fourth inning to take a 4-0 lead.
- Purdue Northwest scored their first run in the fifth inning and be down 4-1.
- The Pride came out in the all important seventh inning and lit up the scoreboard scoring 11 runs to take the game in the end for the comeback victory, 12-4.
Game 2 - vs. Upper Iowa - L, 10-9
The Breakdown
- Senior's Aubrey Shroyer (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon) and Kirsta Wright (Casa Grande, Ariz./Casa Grande Union (Central Arizona CC)) both led the Pride at the plate with two hits and one RBI.
- Four Purdue Northwest players added one hit and one RBI.
- Senior Gabby Paliska (Palos Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East (Wisconsin-Green Bay)) started in the circle for the Pride and pitched all 6.2 innings.
- Pelds led Upper Iowa with two hits and three RBIs.
- McGonigle started on the mound for the Peacocks pitching the first four innings.
- Buckman finished the final three innings and earned the win.
- The Pride started the game strong scoring five runs in the first inning to take an early 5-0 lead.
- Purdue Northwest added four runs in the third inning to extend their advantage to 9-0.
- Upper Iowa stormed back scoring seven runs in the third and cut their deficit to 9-7.
- The Peacocks cut it to one in the fifth, 9-8, and then tied up the game in the sixth, 9-9.
- In the end, with the bases loaded in the ninth inning, Upper Iowa earned a walk to score the game-winning run to contest 10-9.
Game 3 - vs. Hillsdale - W, 2-0
The Breakdown
- Shroyer led the Pride with two hits and one RBI.
- Freshman Emma Fair (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) added two hits.
- J. DeBoer, Dugan, and graduate student Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) contributed one hit each.
- Roop started on the mound for the Pride and pitched another complete game shutout win. She ended the game only giving up two hits and struckout eight batters.
- Sather and Holtman led Hillsdale with one hit each during the game.
- Russell pitched all seven innings for the Chargers with eight strikeouts.
- The Pride scored the first run of the game in the second inning off a sacrifice bunt from Arnold to take the 1-0 lead.
- Purdue Northwest added their second run in the sixth inning off an RBI double from Shroyer to go up 2-0.
- After fantastic pitching and stellar defense, the Pride finished the contest with the victory, 2-0.
Game 4 - vs. Bemidji State - L, 6-4
The Breakdown
- Fair led the Pride with two hits and two RBIs.
- Dugan added three hits during the contest.
- Junior Myah Stuckey (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) contributed two hits.
- J.DeBoer chipped in one hit and two RBIs.
- Freshman Hannah Rafferty-Flatter (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South) started on the mound and pitched the first four innings.
- Roop came in for relief and pitched the last two innings for the Pride.
- Christenson led Bemidji State with two hits.
- Hastings started in the circle for the Beavers and pitched the first two innings.
- Dolan came in and pitched the final 4.2 innings and earned the win for Bemidji State.
- The Beavers took an early lead scoring a run in the first inning to go up 1-0.
- Bemidji State grabbed two more runs in the second inning to extend their lead to 3-0.
- The Pride answered back in the third inning scoring four runs to gain the lead, 4-3.
- The Beavers tied it up in the third scoring a run to make it 4-4.
- Bemidji State regained the lead in the fourth inning scoring a run to make the score 5-4 and then added a run in the fifth to make the final score of 6-4.
