The Purdue Northwest Men's Basketball team slipped in a GLIAC road contest at Parkside on Saturday afternoon, 70-52.

- Graduate student Brendan Temple (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County) led the Pride with 16 points and dished out four assists.
- Senior Kalil Whitehead (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech)Â added 11Â points and grabbed five boards.
- Senior CJ Jackson (Dublin, Calif./Dublin) chipped in nine points and seven rebounds.
- As a team, the Pride finished the game shooting 22-of-55 (40.0%) from the floor and went 5-of-18 (27.8%) from behind the arc.
- Josiah Palmer led Parkside scoring a game-high 19 points and snagged eight rebounds.
- As a team, the Rangers ended the contest going 26-of-61 (42.6%) from the field and shot 9-of-33 (27.3%) from the three-point line.
The Breakdown
- Both teams battled back-and-forth for most of the first half and saw the Pride hold a slim 17-16Â lead with less then seven minutes until the half.
- Parkside ended the first half strong going on a 16-4 run and head into halftime up 32-21.
- The Pride battled back in the beginning of the second half to cut their deficit to 36-30.
- That would be the closet the Pride get though as Parkside would outscore Purdue Northwest for the remainder of the game, 34-22, and seal the win with a strong performance, 70-52.
- Purdue Northwest held the advantage in points in the paint, 32-22.
