Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey junior goalie
Cooper Olson (Maple Grove, Minn./), junior forward
Andrew Remer (Lake Orion, Mich./), and junior defenseman
Carter Hobbs (Des Moines, Iowa/) have earned the incredible honor of being named to the 2025 World University Games Team USA hockey team.
Olson has been the number one goalie for the Pride the past few years and has been one of the top goalies in all of ACHA DI Hockey including being top five in saves, save pct., and wins. Also, last season he earned GLCHL Tournament MVP after his incredible play between the pipes.
Remer is a two-time captain and Hobbs is the Pride's top defenseman while also being a two-time alternate captain for Purdue Northwest.
These three were part of the programs first-ever 2024 GLCHL Tournament Championship team and helped lead the Pride to the Elite Eight of the ACHA DI Hockey National Tournament.
Also, these three outstanding young men are the first PNW hockey players to represent Team USA at any level.
