Christian Booth (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/Father John Redmond) netted the game-winner for the Pride late in the second half.

- Both teams battled in the first-half with near misses by both squads and went into halftime tied 0-0.
- In the 85th minute, the Pride went on a break away and saw Booth convert a strike in the box to give the Pride a 1-0 lead.
- The Purdue Northwest defense held strong in the final minutes to seal the big upset win over SVSU in the end, 1-0.
- The Pride outshot the Cardinals during the game, 13-8.
