Pride take 7th place at Motor City Shakedown

On Monday and Tuesday, the Purdue Northwest men's golf team traveled to Dearborn, Michigan, to compete in the 2024 MotorCity Shakedown hosted by Wayne State University.The Pride would secure a 7th place team finish out of 9 teams.

The Basics

  • The event took place at TPC Michigan Golf Course in Dearborn, Michigan.

  • Wayne State emerged as the victors of the Invitational, posting a combined 567 (290-276).

The Players

  • Brody Pass (Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) finished in 23rd place with a total score of 218, shooting rounds of 77 and 72.
  • Finn Kiger (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point High School) finished in 30th place with a total score of 218, shooting rounds of 74 and 78.
  • Brady Serafin (Beecher, Ill./Beecher) (Purdue NW) finished in 30th place with a total score of 223, shooting rounds of 77 and 75.
  • Joshua Gareth Hamilton (Johannesburg, Gauteng/Abbey Park) (Purdue NW) finished in 40th place with a total score of 225, shooting rounds of 83 and 74.
  • Andrew Remer (Purdue NW) finished in 45th place with a total score of 232, shooting rounds of 72 and 83.
  • Jack Glaspy (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee) (Purdue NW) finished in 52nd place with a total score of 238, shooting rounds of 79 and 88.

Up Next

The golf team is set to resume competition on Monday, October 7th, in Lemont, Illinois taking part in the Lewis Fall Invite. Tee off is slated for 9:00 AM.
