The Breakdown
- Both teams battled it out in the first period with the Pride taking a slight 18-15 lead into the second period.
- Purdue Northwest outscored the Panthers 16-12 in the second to take a 34-27 advantage heading into halftime.
- The Pride started the third period strong going on a 12-7 run to take a 46-34 lead which was largest of the game with six minutes left in the third.
- Davenport responded though and finished the third period on a high note to cut the deficit to 48-44 heading into the important fourth period.
- The Panthers continued their momentum from the third and fought back to tie the game up at 53-53 with less then four minutes remaining in the game.
- With it tied 53-53, the Pride finished the game strong outscoring Davenport 9-4 to end the contest with a road victory, 62-57.
