The Purdue Northwest Men's Basketball team dropped a scrappy road GLIAC game at Davenport on Saturday afternoon, 72-63.

- Junior Dalton Gayman (Nevada, Kans./Nevada) led the Pride with 16Â points off the bench and grabbed nine rebounds with two steals.
- Graduate student Brendan Temple (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County)Â added 14 points with nine boards and two blocks.

- As a team, the Panthers ended the game going 24-of-58 (41.4%) from the field and shot 8-of-20 (40.0%) from deep.
The Breakdown
- The Pride started the game scoring the first four points but then Davenport scored the next eight to take a 8-4 lead in the first four minutes.
- The Panthers then went on a 12-6 run to take a 20-10 advantage with less then twelve minutes left until halftime.
- Purdue Northwest returned with a 12-3 run to cut their deficit to 23-22 with seven minutes remaining in the first half.
- Davenport then responded with several spurts for the rest of the first half to take a 39-30 lead heading into halftime.
- The Pride started the second half with a 11-3 run to trim their deficit to 43-41.
- From there, both teams continued to battle it out trading baskets and leads for the majority of the second half.
- With scored tied 63-63 and two minutes remaining the Panthers ended the game on a 9-0 run to seal the win in the end, 72-63.
- The Pride's bench came to play outscoring Davenport's, 30-9.
- Purdue Northwest held an advantage in second chance points, 12-5.
- Davenport ended with a slight edge in points in the paint, 30-28.
- The Pride outrebounded the Panthers, 41-35.
