The Purdue Northwest men's soccer team shot past Davenport in road GLIAC action for a 2-0 victory on Friday afternoon.

• Senior Hugo Lorenzo (Madrid, Spain/Guzman el Bueno (William Penn)) led the Pride with one goal and one assist.
• Senior Jacob Battista (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia/Dt Kevin's College (Viterbo University)) added one goal.
• Graduate student Carson Schrader (St. John, Ind./Lake Central (IUPUI)) chipped in one assist during the contest.
• Graduate student Eligh Williams played all 90 minutes in net for the Pride and recorded two saves with another shutout. 
• Cam Power led Davenport with two shots. 
• Tommy Pharrell and Bobby Curan each split time in goal for the Panthers and made six saves combined. 

The Breakdown 

• Purdue Northwest scored the first goal of the game in the 44th minute off a strike from Battista to give the team a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
• Lorenzo notched the second goal of the game in the 75th minute to extend the lead for the Pride to 2-0.
