The Conference Commissioners Association (CCA) has revealed its 2023 D2CCA All-American teams with Purdue Northwest softball senior Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central)  garnering Honorable Mention All-American honors.

Michko, a senior designated player, finished her outstanding 2023 season leading the Pride in batting average (.401), hits (63), homeruns (10), and RBIs (47). Those numbers gave her career bests in hits, RBIs, batting average as well as doubles with 13, triples with two, and runs with 39. Her homeruns led all of GLIAC while also earning Top-5 in all major hitting categories. Michko also garnered GLIAC Player of the Week honors earlier this season. Michko is only the second player in PNW softball history finish a season with over a .400 batting average and over 60 hits while also sitting second all-time in career homeruns with 24. 

Michko picks up her fourth postseason award as she also earned 2023 All-GLIAC First Team honors for the second straight season, 2023 NFCA Division II All-Region Second Team, and 2023 D2CCA Midwest All-Region First Team accolades.
