The Purdue Northwest softball team broke several team and individual records during their 16-2 win over Post in their final day of the Florida Spring Games.

The Breakdown
- Senior Selena Michko (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) led the Pride going 4-of-4 at the plate including three doubles and six RBIs.
- Junior Darcy Barkauskas (St. Johns, Ind./Lake Central) added two hits and three RBIs.
- Senior Ashley Bravo (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young) and senior Madison Schultz (Lafayette, Ind./Faith Christian) notched three hits each.
- Junior Jessica DeBoer (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian)Â recorded two hits and two RBIs.
- Junior Aubrey Shroyer (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon) chipped in two hits.
- Junior Emma Hill (Holmes Beach, Fla./Cary-Grove (IL)) started on the mound for the Pride and pitched all six innings to earn the win. She ended the contest striking out four batters.
- CiCala led Post with two hits and two RBIs.
- Hughes pitched all six innings for the Falcons.
- The Pride scored first to start the game in the first inning to take an early 4-0 lead.
- Purdue Northwest did not look back the entire game scoring 12 runs to finish off Post, 16-2.
Friday, March 17 vs. Le Moyne - L, 7-6
The Breakdown
- Freshman Olivia Hernandez (Aurora, Ill./Aurora Central Catholic) led the Pride with two hits and three RBIs.
- Shroyer added two hits.
- Michko and senior Madison Schultz (Lafayette, Ind./Faith Christian) each chipped in one hit and one RBI.
- Junior Gabby Paliska (Palos Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East (Wisconsin-Green Bay)) pitched the first three innings for the Pride.
- Junior Maddison Roop (Hudson, Ill./University) finished the last four innings for Purdue Northwest.
- Bergdoll led Le Moyne with three hits and five RBIs.
- Bennett started on the mound for the Dolphins and pitched all six innings earning four strikouts.
- Le Moyne scored the first run in the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead.
- The Pride took the lead in the second inning off a Hernandez two RBI hit to make it, 2-1.
- The Dolphins added five runs in the fourth inning to take a commanding 7-2 lead.
- Purdue Northwest drew a run in the fourth to cut it to 7-3.
- The Pride added another run in the fifth to make it 7-4.
- Purdue Northwest attempted a late comeback in the seventh inning scoring two runs but falling short in the end of a hard-fought battle, 7-6.
