The Purdue Northwest men's basketball team slipped at home against Indiana Northwest in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon, 89-80.

The Breakdown
- With score in favor of the Redhawks, 13-10, they would go on a 23-13 run to make it 36-23 with less then six minutes in the first half.
- The Pride fought back for the rest of the first to cut the deficit to 41-38, but Indiana Northwest drained a half court buzzer-beater to go into halftime now up 44-38.
- In the second half, Purdue Northwest went on a 15-9 run to tie the game up at 53-53 in the first six minutes after halftime.
- Indiana Northwest answered with a 12-2 run of their own to take a 65-55 advantage with ten minutes remaining.
- The Pride tried to claw their way back to gain momentum but the Redhawks made key plays down the stretch as Purdue Northwest fell in the end, 89-80.

Game Quote from Head Coach Boomer Roberts:
"That was a really poor performance, no way around it. We looked like a team who hadn't played in 13 days, and we never snapped out of it. Obviously making open shots and one on one at the rim would help, but we didn't play with the competitive spirit that we did in the first month of the season. It's on me to get our guys to understand what that looks like."
