The Purdue Northwest Men's Soccer team defeated Davenport on Sunday afternoon 4-1 in the GLIAC Semi-Finals to advance to their first-ever GLIAC Championship.

• Senior Jacob Battista (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia/Dt Kevin's College (Viterbo University)) led the Pride with one goal and notching three assists.
• Senior Hugo Lorenzo (Madrid, Spain/Guzman el Bueno (William Penn)) added three assists.
• Graduate students Carson Schrader (St. John, Ind./Lake Central (IUPUI)) and Ryan Moran (Perth, Western Australia/Jerudong International School), and junior Fausto Gionchetti (Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Oakhill Pilar (Bethany College)) each tallied one goal.
• Freshman Kenzo Fukugava (São Paulo, Brazil/Collegio Santoamerico) chipped in one assist.
• Graduate student Eligh Williams (Gympie, Queensland, Australia/The Southport School) played all 90 minutes in frame for the Pride and recorded four saves 
• Vitalis Takawira Jr. led Davenport with a goal.
• Bobby Curran played all 90 minutes in goal for the Panthers.

The Breakdown 

• The Pride scored early on in the first half when Schrader tallied a goal in the 12th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
• Moran netted Purdue Northwest's second goal of the first half in 28th minute to increase the lead to 2-0 at halftime.
• The Pride tallied two more goals in the 49th and 51st minute to increase their lead to 4-0.
• Davenport scored a goal late in the second half to make the score 4-1 but it wasn't enough as the Pride ended the game with the victory.
