Senior Hugo Lorenzo (Madrid, Spain/Guzman el Bueno (William Penn)) netted two goals to help propel the Purdue Northwest Men's Soccer team over St. Cloud State in GLIAC play on Friday night, 2-0.

• Lorenzo led the Pride with two goals and one assist.
• Senior Jacob Battista (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia/Dt Kevin's College (Viterbo University)) added one goal.
• Graduate Student Adam Morris (London, England/Jcoss (Louisiana State-Shreveport)) and senior Christian Booth (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/Father John Redmond) chipped in one assist each.
• Graduate student Eligh Williams (Gympie, Queensland, Australia/The Southport School) played all 90 minutes in goal for the Pride and recorded two saves notching a third-straight shutout. 
• Ronaldo Lopez led St. Cloud State with two shots. 
• Dylan De Baldo played all 90 minutes in frame for the Huskies and made four saves. 

The Breakdown 

• The Pride grabbed the early lead in the sixth minute after Lorenzo headed in a corner kick to make the score 1-0.
• Lorenzo notched the second goal of the game in the 29th minute to extend the lead for the Pride to 2-0.
• Purdue Northwest took a 3-0 advantage in the second game off a strike from Battista in the 56th minute.
• Williams and the Purdue Northwest defense played outstanding once again to earn the shut-out in the end, 3-0.
• Purdue Northwest out-shot the Huskies, 12-10.
