The Purdue Northwest women's soccer team dropped a hard-fought road game at rainy Parkside in GLIAC action on Friday afternoon, 2-1.

- Freshman Amaris Gonzalez (Lansing, Ill./Thornton Fractional South (South Suburban College)) added three shots.
- Senior Ashley Lovins (Huntley, Ill./Huntley HS) played all 90 minutes in net for Purdue Northwest and tallied 11 saves.

The Breakdown
- Parkside grabbed an early lead in the fifth minute of the game off a Baker goal to take a 1-0 advantage.
- Purdue Northwest netted the tying goal in the 20th minute from Hefty to make it 1-1.
- The Rangers earned a penalty kick in the 37th minute where Baker converted from the spot to take a 2-1 lead while the Pride went a player down due to red for the rest of the game.
- Both teams were held scoreless in the second-half after a valiant effort by Pride but fell just short in the end.
