This Saturday, both the men's and women's cross-country teams embarked on a journey to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to participate in the Ranger Meet, where two remarkable Pride runners clinched the top spot in their respective races.
Christina Shaginaw (Hobart, Ind./Hobart HS) and
Carter Leak (North Vernon, Ind./Jennings County HS) demonstrated their talents, with Christina clocking in at an impressive 23:11.8 and Carter completing the race in 26:49.5, both securing first place. Christina has now claimed her fifth collegiate victory during her career, all of which have been achieved within the past two seasons. In Carter's case, this victory marks a significant milestone as his very first collegiate win.
