Opponent: Purdue University Northwest men's soccer will start the season at Lewis University on Thursday, August 25th at 5:00 pm.
Coach Hayes Quote: "With the exception of the COVID interrupted season, this is the 5
th season in a row that we have opened our non-conference slate against the Lewis University Flyers. Coach Fiffles has been at Lewis for more than 30 seasons and we always expect a tough opponent. The Flyers are coming off a season where they qualified for the NCAA tournament and we are excited for the challenge to kick off the season."
Pride Player Highlights: The Pride are excited to have six All GLIAC award recipients returning for the 2022-23 season.
Harrison Hooper (Noosa, Queensland, Australia/Saint Andrew's Anglican College),
Martin Murillo (Addison, Ill./Addison Trail), Lucas Bravo,
Ryan Moran (Attadale, Australia),
Christian Booth (Mississauga, Ontario) and
Sebastian Contreras (Joliet, Ill./Plainfield Central) were all honored with post season awards last year.
Will Maurice (Minooka, Ill.) will be playing against his former school, Lewis University. Will transferred to the PNW Pride at the start of this season.
